So we have chosen our own future.

On August 23, 2015, I wrote a post in which I briefly set out the theory of harmonizing a place (according to the methods of Feng Shui, Vastu) as applied to Kyiv, where the city itself acts as a certain reduced copy of all Ukraine, and the mayor is the symbolic guardian. And accordingly the symbolism of the mayor's figure extends to the whole country. See the material “A major road accident has occurred in the capital; a technological disaster should be expected”.
So, we have two candidates for the office of mayor in Kyiv in the second round: Vitali Klitschko and Boryslav Bereza. I have already written about Klitschko (in the post of August 23) and symbolically associated him with a warrior who brings victory. I knew nothing about Bereza, and without additional information I can only say that a birch is a symbol of Russia; it is difficult to say where such symbolism came from. But here is a quotation (the first link in the search engine):
"As is known, one of the main symbols of our great state since ancient times has been the birch. It is difficult for us, Russian people, to imagine a field or forest where this white beauty would not be. Today the birch is probably the most widespread tree in our latitudes. It is considered a symbol of purity and rebirth, but at the same time the ancient Slavs believed that evil spirits and rusalkas could dwell in it.
In the northern part of the country, residents were convinced that this plant was unlucky, and therefore they never built houses in birch groves. There were other omens concerning the white beauty as well. For example, there was once a rumor that if one heated the stove with birch firewood, bedbugs would appear in the house, or that if such a tree were planted in the yard of a married man, it could end badly for him, even with death. Nevertheless, the birch was still more often associated with good beliefs.
For example, translated into Russian, the name of the tree means “to protect,” from the word “bereginya” (a pagan deity among the Slavs, whom they considered the mother of all known spirits, and it was her image that people associated with the little birch). In addition, this plant was initially associated with health and fertility, and only later did it come to be considered a symbol of the feminine principle and beauty."
I will add from myself that birch bark was used as writing material before the appearance of paper. Incidentally, Boryslav Bereza positions himself as a literary scholar and literary critic. Again, on the first search-engine query I found a mention that B. Bereza deserted from the Israeli army, or more precisely from conscription into the Israeli army.
The only thing that comes to my mind is that the symbolism associated with Boryslav Bereza will lead Ukraine to capitulation before Russia. In symbolic language it sounds like this: the guardian of Ukraine (the mayor) adheres to what is written on birch bark from Russia and has tendencies toward desertion.
So we have chosen our own future. On the one hand, we may get the continuation of the war if Klitschko becomes mayor; on the other hand, capitulation and life according to instructions from Moscow if Bereza becomes mayor.
Goodness to everyone, and always think with your head - it greatly helps you avoid difficult situations.
