And here we will not be talking about the bootleg of a boot, but about the desire to get something for free or at someone else's expense. Of course, one could have begun the conversation with the free cheese in the mousetrap, or with the folk meaning of the word “free” as “the demon pays”. But these meanings are old and have no effect on people. The Ukrainian nation and its mentality have absorbed basic concepts that shape the general tendency of its representatives' actions.

And the two main theses on which the Ukrainian mentality is based are: “My house is on the edge, I know nothing” and “Freebie”. I want to consider only one of them. From the point of view of yoga, a freebie is described by the term “Rnanubandhana”.

From Sanskrit, rnanubandhana is translated as: rna - debt, anubandhana - connection. So, my dear freeloaders and those suffering from freeloaders, you cannot get something for free or take from someone beyond the karmic debt that already exists between you. A thief will not be able to steal from someone who did not steal from that thief before, in another incarnation. On the other hand, the first debt appeared somehow, which means that the first time, someone took “what was not theirs” from someone without the rnanubandhana connecting you.

But karmic connection is not limited to material objects; more precisely, it has no relation to material objects at all. What matters is the emotion itself, the flow of relationships between incarnating souls.

From all of the above, one disappointing conclusion can be drawn: the Ukrainian nation demands special treatment because it suffers and suffered before. And this seems unfair, because first the Russian forces occupied us, then the fascists, then the Poles, then the Lithuanians, and so on to the end of the list. But there is just one small correction: rnanubandhana relates to the soul, not to the nation.

If the wheel of history is supposed to turn toward the suffering of some nation, it is unnatural, from the point of view of the universe, to populate that nation with souls that suffered before. It is much more natural for the souls of previous oppressors to settle in a suffering nation. In a past life you oppressed black people; in the next one, be black people yourself.

All freeloaders always end up with nothing; it is impossible to take “what is not yours”. No matter how smart or cunning you may seem, no matter how hard you try to deceive everyone, no one will ever take more than what is karmically owed to them. Just stop looking for freebies, my dear freeloaders. By these actions of yours, the world does not become better; perhaps the universe is already ready to give you a gift, but because of your striving for freebies, you are missing it.
