I Do Not Want to Tire You with Proof of This Indisputable Factor.

Facebook archive. First published on 2023-02-14.

Once during a group class, I took a cup in my hand and asked a student who at that moment was acting as the Tarot reader: “What is in my hand?” Although it was obvious, I no longer remember exactly which arcana came up, but the fact that there was the 18th arcanum, the Moon, which is directly connected with water, is certain.

But an uninformed reader will say that the Star arcanum should have appeared, because there a naked lady pours water from jugs. And they will also be right.

“Oh, those esotericists, everything with them is somehow flexible and fluid; the Ace of Cups should have appeared, and throw those Major Arcana of yours into the furnace, there is a cup in the hand, so a cup should have appeared.” - someone third will remark, and will also turn out to be right.

For people who watch videos exposing all kinds of esotericism, it will be clear that all three are engaged in nonsense, and one should invest in crypto.

If you do not know, traditionally one should do divination on Friday, just as the dreams that come true are those from Thursday to Friday. All because Friday is the day of Venus, which is responsible for realization; you do want to receive an answer that will be realized, right? Do you not see the catch here? Divination only on a certain day. And what will happen if you do divination on another day? And if Venus is currently weakened? Does all this influence the result of divination or not?

I do not want to tire you with proof of this indisputable factor. A person participates in any divination, and all of this is directed at that person. Therefore the simplest version of divination is to form an image of the question and try to understand the answer. Or the question worries the questioner so much that they form the image of the question automatically, without making any additional effort. Therefore it does not matter who forms the image of the question, the diviner or the questioner; the main thing is that the image is formed.

It is for this reason that Tarot often answers only one question; you can do as many as fifty spreads, and the answer will still be allegorically the same.

Tarot readers are practically not taught to form questions; everything ends with simply saying the question out loud. But what matters is precisely not what the Tarot reader says while shuffling the cards, but what he thinks, and accordingly what image he forms. Concentration is the most important part in this matter; in an ordinary state a person cannot focus on one thought and jumps from one to another. In this case, it is necessary for the space of the question to “freeze” as quickly as possible.

In this case the day of Venus, the hour of Venus, the month when Venus is strong helps; then the question quickly “freezes”, as if it is fixed. Divination with wax and coffee grounds is exactly about this. People constantly form images that quickly fall apart. We sort of sculpt images from prana, as from clay, and these images make prana flow differently and influence everything around. Prana is the same qi, if you know more about feng shui than about yoga. It is a certain invisible energy that fills and permeates everything around.

This energy behaves like a liquid. Feng shui is precisely translated as wind water, because gases and liquids behave the same way; differences appear only because of the difference in density.

Now let us talk about the aero- or hydrodynamics of prana. This is an existing substance, although a very microscopic one, but it is not included in the standard model of quantum physics. It is rather closer to dark matter or dark energy from that same quantum physics. The images of our imagination are exactly what control prana by forming images, only the prana that we control is pliable and flexible, a sort of domesticated prana.

The prana that surrounds us is wild; it freezes quite quickly and dissolves just as quickly, similar to the effect of drawings on water that disappear almost instantly. But if you make the same drawing on snow, it will last quite a long time until it melts. Although both there and there it is H two O, i.e. water.

There are many such spoiled arcana; almost every modern deck will have at least one. The Rider-Waite deck is broken because the 8th arcanum has been swapped with the 11th. Papus Tarot is the height of abuse of the arcana, because there are other symbols present, often contradicting the image of the arcanum itself. Newfangled, colorful Tarot decks are often not about Tarot at all, but about selling beautiful illustrations in the form of cards. Draw your own conclusions as to whether your Tarot is broken or not.
