Laws of the Universe.
Today we will talk about the esoteric foundation of all foundations — the most fundamental laws of the universe. Some of these laws have already been discovered by our scientists, others have not yet.
Knowing these laws, you will easily understand what awaits you in the future and how to relate to the present. All systems of future prediction will become clear to you. For now, most votes are in favor of esoteric topics.
The Law of Duality. You have certainly heard about the duality of the world — that every quality has its opposite, every phenomenon has an antipode. This is your first esoteric law — the duality of existence. Newton’s third law, where every action produces a reaction, speaks of the same principle.
The Law of Development. The next fundamental law is the golden ratio or the Fibonacci sequence, where the sum of the two preceding elements forms the next one. Two simple qualities interacting with each other form a new, more complex quality. All of nature lives by this law; all growth and development follow it.
The Law of Correspondence. Since this is a fundamental law that governs the physical world, the quantum world, and the subtle invisible world, the principle of correspondence described in the Emerald Tablet emerges from it. This principle states that everything is connected to everything. In esotericism it is often treated as a separate law, and I will follow this tradition.
The Law of Attraction. All spiritual traditions speak of divine love — this very love is the fundamental law of attraction. Everything is drawn to everything. Even on the quantum level attraction operates, and on the scale of solar systems and galaxies it is even more apparent.
The Law of Consequences. Also known as the law of karma — every action inevitably leads to consequences. Our entire science is built upon this fundamental law.
The Law of Vibration. The universe is a dynamic structure that moves endlessly. The very idea of infinity is impossible without cycles. And as soon as cycles exist, vibrations arise. And where there are vibrations, there are levels of vibration.
The Law of Mentality. The entire universe is a single perfect super-consciousness with only one limitation — “I am.” In Hinduism this principle corresponds to Brahma, often expressed as “I am Brahma” or “I am the Supreme Brahman.” All yogic tools are built on this foundation: the individual “I” strives to know the Higher “I.”
By understanding these seven basic esoteric laws, one can grasp how the universe is arranged. Only after this understanding does the individual “I” gain the possibility of choice. Otherwise, the individual self is carried along by these universal laws and cannot influence even the smallest details of its life.
All systems of future prediction are aimed at the obscured self — the self deprived of choice. Astrology, tarot, runes, divination, interpretation of signs, dreams, or messages from subtle beings — all these are interpretations of how these seven laws interact.
Let me explain how these laws work using Tarot as an example. I will not go into the detailed symbolism of all the major arcana, but I will outline some basic principles.
The First Arcana of Tarot is the principle of “I am,” the law of mentality — the perfect consciousness. “I am Brahma,” the father of fathers.
The Second Arcana is the manifestation of duality. “I am” must exist somewhere. This “somewhere” is the space for “I am,” the principle of “I am that.” Duality gives rise to diversity — if there is a father of fathers, there must be a mother of mothers.
The Third Arcana is the child. According to the Fibonacci formula, the first element is zero — the nothingness from which Brahma (1) emerged. As soon as Brahma appeared, he created his opposite — Saraswati (also 1). Their interaction produced the number 2 — the child of all fathers and all mothers.
The first three arcana are very abstract — they show the principle of the universe’s creation. To make understanding easier, these abstract principles are shown through real life. In this context, the first arcana is the Father, the second is the Mother, and the third is the Child. But it is still unknown whether this child is male or female.
The Fourth Arcana is manifestation — the birth of this child. It is 1+2 in the Fibonacci sequence. Two simple elements interact, and the result is a more complex third element. The child grows in the mother’s womb for nine months and is born as the Emperor — the result of their interaction.
The Fifth Arcana is the adolescent Emperor, symbolized by the highest religious authority. Traditionally, power was divided between ruling and religious figures. The Hierophant is the Emperor’s mentor, but symbolically it represents mentorship for all. In the Fibonacci sequence it is 2+3 = 5.
The Sixth Arcana is choice. Many Tarot decks mistakenly depict this card. Its idea is the Emperor choosing between two brides — one symbolizing love, the other duty. Royal marriages were political, not romantic. Hence the difficulty of this choice: between duty and personal happiness. Fibonacci: 3+5 = 8. This is where the law of attraction expresses itself — divine love.
The Seventh Arcana is the correct choice — the concept of good and evil. The card shows a chariot with two horses: a white one (right action) and a black one (wrong action). The Emperor controls them. Fibonacci: 5+8 = 13.
There are 22 major arcana. One of them — the Fool — is zero and either begins or ends the series. Excluding zero, the remaining 21 divide into three equal levels: the physical world, the subtle/mental world, and the world of divine matter. This is the application of the law of vibration across three levels.
The next arcana continue the Emperor’s journey, but now on the subtle emotional and mental plane.
The Eighth Arcana — eight directions. The Emperor begins applying his understanding of good and evil. Historically, Rider–Waite swapped the 8th and 11th arcana. Both Justice and Strength partially describe the Emperor’s transformation. Realizing good and evil, he seeks balance — the symbol of this arcana. Fibonacci: 8+13 = 21 — the full cycle of all arcana. This is the law of consequences.
The Ninth Arcana — truth. In life, right actions are not always correct; exceptions exist. Sometimes a lie is a blessing, truth is destructive, mercy is needed where justice seems appropriate. Perfection is when even exceptions have their place. Fibonacci: 13+21 = 34.
Since the Ninth Arcana belongs to a higher vibrational level (the mental world), we use a new method — the “magical root,” the esoteric reduction of numbers to 1–9.
The root of 34 is 3+4 = 7 — the principle of good and evil. Thus, at a higher level of vibration, the Ninth Arcana still deals with moral discernment, but in a deeper way.
The Tenth Arcana — cycle. The universe is infinite movement and thus infinite cycles. Fibonacci: 21+34 = 55. Magical root: 5+5 = 10 → 1 — the infinite universe.
Esotericism explores these cycles in many traditions — Kabbalah’s Tree of Sefirot has 10 elements forming 22 paths, mirroring the 22 arcana. Numerology and gematria study the universe through such reductions. Ultimately this shows how the individual “I,” the one, studies the Higher “I,” the ten.
The remaining arcana behave more complexly but still express the same seven fundamental laws. Knowing the symbolic meaning of 1–9, you can interpret any stage of your life. For example, I am writing this podcast on January 22. January is the first month — the beginning. The 22nd day corresponds to 22 arcana — beginning the topic of Tarot. 2+2=4 — manifestation. Today I have manifested the idea I had long ago.
You too are at some step in your destiny, symbolically described by an arcana or by its magical root. Knowing your current step, you can easily understand what comes next.
Everything in the universe is one and follows the golden ratio — endlessly repeating, endlessly growing more complex. Clarke’s third law says: any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic. The golden ratio is the formula of super-consciousness — the most perfect divine technology. The tool Brahma uses to build universes.
Now you too are connected to this knowledge and can study how the universe actually works. I truly envy you — you received the entire essence of esotericism at once, without spending decades searching and verifying these principles as I did. I can only imagine where I would be now if I had learned this earlier.
