Auspicious time: panchanga and daily forecast

The Auspicious time service combines panchanga and a short daily forecast. It helps you understand the quality of a day and choose a more reasonable moment for ordinary actions.

What panchanga is

Panchanga consists of five principal factors of the day in Jyotish: weekday, tithi, Moon nakshatra, yoga, and karana. The service also shows the day's windows: Rahu-kala, Abhijit-muhurta, Yamaganda, Gulika, Dur-muhurta, and Varjyam, when the data is available.

For a detailed explanation of these terms, read Panchanga and muhurta.

Personal assessment of the day

The service scores Panchanga and transits relative to the active natal chart separately. Each receives a strength from 1 to 10. The final score is their exact average: the two values are added and divided by two without rounding.

Maharishi Parashara shows the Panchanga and transit factors without a ready synthesis. Volodymyr Kraine explains their combined effect on the day. Dashas and other periods are not used here.

Date, time, and place

For today's calculation, the current time is used. For another date, set the moment under "Additional data".

The initial location is selected automatically: your place of residence from your profile, or the active chart's place of birth if no residence is set. You can change the location under "Additional data" before calculation.

What the daily forecast gives you

The daily forecast does not repeat the full forecast service. It focuses on the day itself: Panchanga, current transits, and their relationship to the natal chart.

Longer periods such as Vimshottari dasha are not used here. For a daily forecast, they are too broad and operate on a different timescale.

Price

Price with Maharishi Parashara: 100 ⭐ or 1 subscription request. With Volodymyr Kraine: 200 ⭐ or 2 subscription requests.

Limitations

Panchanga does not replace a full muhurta selection. Muhurta is a separate choice of time for a specific action: a wedding, a transaction, the launch of a project, a trip, an operation, and so on.

This service helps you understand the day, but does not guarantee an ideal time for every event.
