Upaya - Appeasing Grahas in Jyotish.

Usually upaya is an action directed at the personality of a graha (planet). It is believed that if you do something for a planet (graha), it will rejoice and grant its favor. In the tradition, Jyotish prescribes a precious stone corresponding to the planet, and the planet, rejoicing, softens its action. One can make an offering to those in need so that they generate gratitude, which a person mentally sends to the divine personality of the planet, perform a ritual (puja or yajna) dedicated to the planet, or read a mantra dedicated to this graha (planet).

You can acquaint yourself with the details on countless Jyotish websites or from videos by Jyotish teachers. I will speak about a completely different side of upaya - its yogic component.

Graha is translated as captor; I have said many times that this is about the capture of the mind. We all act according to our desires or aversions; Grahas influence precisely desires, what we want to obtain or what we want to avoid. Obviously, Grahas influence exclusively ahamkara, our personality. When a yogi enters the state of samadhi, he ceases to perceive himself as ahamkara; his perception changes to the perception of Purusha (the Higher Self).

In this state, Grahas cannot capture his ahamkara and cannot control him. This means that the influence of the grahas does not act on him, and he ceases to follow the fate written in his chart, and has the right to choose his fate, change it, or follow it while being aware of every step.

If you want to dig even deeper into the details like a true bore, upaya is also used as a term in Shaivism describing the process by which Jiva (a living being) realizes Atman (the Higher Self of the universe)

Probably for this reason, yogis do not speak publicly when someone tries to please a deity and brings it gifts in the hope of favor. We believe that every being has its own path and it should be respected. When a being is confused, one can only point it in a direction, but the being must untangle itself independently.

Let us move on to examples through which it is easy to understand the thought I am trying to convey to You.

I read the first example and therefore am retransmitting it:

Imagine a situation where a house is burning, and children are playing inside the house. The father, seeing what is happening, calls the children to leave the house because there is a fire. But the children are occupied with their game and think that the father is playing with them by talking about a fire, and therefore they do not listen to him. Then the Father uses a trick, a device (upaya), and shouts to the children that he has brought them new toys, golden, silver, beautiful, and shiny. The children, becoming interested in the new toys, leave the house, and already from beside the father they see that the house really is burning and that they could have just died.

And in this way, upaya directed at the personality of the children helped them avoid a bad fate.

The second example: I will conduct an upaya for Ukraine:

At the end of 2023 I said that Rahu would enter Ukraine's eighth house, and a cycle of critical situations lasting a year and a half would begin. This is what we are now observing: the complete genocide of Ukrainians, the usurpation of power, well, You know everything already. Does what is happening mean that everything is proceeding naturally and astrology has nothing to do with it? For someone, probably yes, but my point of view is no. The whole country is under the influence of the graha Rahu.

This graha has a special power: it influences the psyche, is responsible for mental disorders, and for the emergence of illusions. Our authorities, like everyone to whom the Constitution of Ukraine applies, have fallen under the influence of Rahu. All Ukrainians do not see reality; even those who think they see everything clearly cannot understand this. Because of the hierarchical effect, because of herd instinct, everyone whose psyche is more resistant to influences becomes saturated with Rahu's illusion from their environment and from people endowed with power.

Now the upaya. In every city, village, district, house, or community there are its own authorities. People who possess exceptional abilities, people who know how to organize other people around themselves. These are precisely the people capable of changing the situation, but they need the support of their environment. First of all, these people should understand the unnaturalness of what is happening. We are not characters in a dystopia; we are in reality. Treat everyone around you as mentally ill; first of all this concerns our authorities.

This means that a society of the mentally healthy should be built. And then the split in society will occur not along linguistic lines, but according to the adequacy of the decisions a person makes. There is no need to fight the authorities, create revolutions, or lure the military to your side. Society needs to be healed. When adequate people unite, ordinary people will have a choice: to follow Maryana the Mad or the society of adequate people.

And a society of adequate people will find an effective way to heal the authorities, or to convict and imprison those who violated the law.

Any difficult situation has a solution when this solution is sought by people who want to resolve the situation and are capable of making decisions.

A list of adequate ideas from a couch expert:

All life is sacred. Ukraine is, first of all, a community of people united by a common idea of freedom and independence; secondly, a culture; and only thirdly, a territory. If there are people who are ready to help Ukraine in its formation and strengthening, demanding from them knowledge of the Ukrainian language and culture is not adequate. All representatives of all nationalities and cultures should be accepted, including representatives of the enemy who have sworn allegiance to the people of Ukraine and are ready to fight with them.

Corruption during war is the gravest crime and should be equated with treason or mass murder. War must never serve as justification for any actions; war is a complicating factor, force majeure. Any voluntary action or volunteering is a person's goodwill; when a person wishes to stop doing something of their own free will, they should have the opportunity to do so without obstruction, without condemnation, and receive gratitude.

The operation of the constitution must be restored; human rights and freedoms may be restricted only in exceptional cases and for a very short time, when the military situation requires it. Border control with neighboring countries that provide support to Ukraine should be abolished completely on Ukraine's side. Our neighbors will manage border control themselves; it is better to strengthen this control in places where the enemy may penetrate. This will free both human and financial resources.

Cancel all financial restrictions and allow payment in foreign currency throughout the territory of Ukraine. The hryvnia exchange rate must fully correspond to the market rate. The circulation of foreign currency on the territory of Ukraine will remove opportunities for market speculation. Create a fair mobilization system where a person's physical capabilities are the main factor on a par with motivation. So that every warrior has the opportunity to go on leave and rotation before the situation with his health becomes critical.

We are people, and we must behave humanely. If some clause of any rules and laws does not take the situation that has developed into account, then the decision must be made from the point of view of humanity.

This list does not mean that I know how to solve everything or that I know how anyone should act. This list is rather the result of the most terrible mistakes we have made, and how it should be done the other way around.
