Esotericism in the octal numeral system.

Of course, there are other numerical patterns in nature. Since our world is dual, the number two will be found everywhere. Day - night, warm - cold, etc. And where there is duality, there too the middle between two extremes will appear, and the number three will begin to manifest. And what is interesting is that the duality of the world suggests boundary numerical sequences to any researcher. These are powers of two; here are some of them. 1st power of two = 2 2nd power of two = 4 3rd power of two = 8 4th power of two = 16 5th power of two = 32 6th power of two = 64 7th power of two = 128

I will omit some details; I want to draw Your attention to the 3rd power of two, which equals 8. If only the 3rd power of 2 could have turned out and also given a seven, everything would have become quite excellent, but there is 8. Yes, eight digits, from 0 to 7. Just as there are eight notes, from silence to B, just as there are eight colors, from black to violet. In the division into seven, zero was not taken into account. And this is a fairly common mistake; our ancestors did not take zero into account for a very long time.

So if, using the principle of duality, we build a numerical series consisting of zeros and ones, we get: 0 = 000 1 = 001 2 = 010 3 = 011 4 = 100 5 = 101 6 = 110 7 = 111 And the Chinese have been using this sequence in trigrams for a very long time. And there are many correspondences to the trigrams. I will not describe all of them, because I want to focus Your attention on the essence of the octal system.

The main idea is that nature is harmonious and has strict rules by which both the inanimate and the living world are built. But esotericism, because of differences in approaches and worldviews, has produced a great variety of directions, and some of them, although they use esoteric principles, nevertheless break the harmony of nature.

The universe is devoid of flaws; its formulas are perfect and applicable to any object or situation. The main thing is to bring all esoteric symbolism into a single correspondence, which will in itself begin to create links and combinations. Then the esoteric method will not cause misinterpretations or disputes; situations in which two metals, gold and copper, correspond to the Sun will cease to arise.

The confusion with the elements will also disappear, where in one direction the earth mudra is tied to the middle finger, and in another to the ring finger; I have even encountered an earth mudra tied to the little finger. There will be no directions in which seven chakras turn into ten and their colors change.

I will say a few words about the numeral system. We are used to a numeral system in which we use 10 digits to designate ten numbers, from 0 to 9. At the same time, the next order begins from 1 with the addition of zero, and after 9 the same counting goes on, only with the designation of the order. We began with 00-09, then comes 10-19, then 20-29 and so on. If, by analogy with the decimal numeral system, we build an octal system, the full series will look like: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7.

The decimal number 8 in the octal numeral system will begin the next series and will become equal to 10. 9 will turn into 11, and 10 will become 12. The second series in the octal system will end at the number 15; decimal 16 will become octal 20-ty.

For those who have not encountered numeral systems, it is difficult to understand why the digit 10 corresponds to different numbers in different numeral systems. It is all because a digit, which is a designation, and a number, which is a measure of quantity, are usually psychologically perceived as synonyms. For simplicity of understanding, I will replace the word digit with the word designation, and the word number with the word quantity. And I will give the example of the hexadecimal numeral system.

In the hexadecimal numeral system, up to 9 the quantity designations are identical, but the tenth designation is encoded by the first Latin letter A. The designation of 11 is encoded by the letter B, 12 accordingly is C. 13 is D, 14 is E, and the series ends at 15, which is designated as F. Thus the full series in the hexadecimal numeral system is: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, A, B, C, D, E, F. The second series is designated in the same way as in the decimal numeral system, through 10, and is equal to 16.

In short, the numeral system tells us how many signs will be used to encode numbers. And since the world is dual, and there is such a wonderful science as informatics, whose founder was Blaise Pascal, who invented the first mechanical calculator in 1642. So, according to the duality of the world and the binary nature of numbers, the decimal numeral system that we all use so widely contradicts the harmony of nature. I will give an example:

There are 360 degrees in a circle only because there are 365 days in a year. But if the number 365 is converted into the octal numeral system, then the days in a year become not 365, but 555. 24 hours exist only because 360 divides well by 12, and since the world is dual, there is day and night, 12 hours each for day and night, so we got 24 hours in a day. 60 minutes only because they divide well by 12 and divide 360 well. All this is for convenience in the decimal numeral system. That is, these are human assumptions and conventions, and they have nothing to do with nature, just as the decimal numeral system does not.

In the octal numeral system there will be 50 octal hours in a day, 25 octal hours each for day and night. Octal 25 quantitatively corresponds to decimal 21 hours. And in such an octal hour there will be 70-ty octal minutes, which quantitatively correspond to 56 decimal minutes, and there will be 56 decimal seconds in an octal minute.

What is the convenience? For example, that there are 550 degrees, 50 hours, and 70-ty minutes. Numbers that are easy to remember and that divide easily by 10. All the more so because quantitatively half a day (21 decimal hours) corresponds to the 21st major tarot arcana, without zero. And 70 minutes quantitatively correspond to the 56 minor tarot arcana. This makes it possible to trace connections between planets, colors, notes and to compose a unified esoteric system.

For example, the Fibonacci sequence of the decimal numeral system 1,1,2,4,5,8,13,21 in octal will look like 1,1,2,3,5,10,15,25. And if we divide 22 (the number of major arcana) by 7, we get the number Pi.

For example, healthy human sleep should be from 7 to 9 hours. Can you say offhand how many, 7, 8 or 9 decimal hours a person should sleep? If, however, we use a harmonious system in which there are 21 decimal hours and 25 octal hours. Then one third of a day will equal 7 hours. That is, the same harmonious order is repeated, where 3 and 7 are present. Therefore healthy sleep in decimal time will be 8 decimal hours or 7 octal hours with a 25-hour night.

Very often I have heard scientists express skepticism toward numerologists, using as an argument: "How can You base calculations on a calendar and give digits esoteric meanings if there are many calendars. And chronologies begin from phenomena not tied to nature?" Astrologers are criticized because, when using the tropical zodiac, they use the designations of constellations that have shifted due to precession. And with planets there is complete disorder in general: sometimes there are 7, sometimes 10-ty.

Nonexistent astronomical objects in the form of lunar nodes are taken into account. All of esotericism lacks coherence and logic; there are no clearly formulated rules explaining why exactly this way and not otherwise. There is no foundation. And yet esoteric disciplines gave life to many present-day sciences. Initially there were no divisions by direction; there was one science - natural science.
