The Inner Beast Is Progressing.

“Not peace, not peace has the deceiver of the people brought us in Yershalaim, and you, horseman, understand this perfectly. You wanted to release him so that he would confuse the people, mock the faith, and bring the people under Roman swords! But I, the Jewish high priest, as long as I live, will not let the faith be desecrated and will defend the people!

And for the third time we announce that we are releasing Bar-rabban,” Caiaphas said quietly.”

<The Master and Margarita, M. Bulgakov>

In James Cameron's film work “Avatar”, Jake Sully becomes Toruk Makto (Rider of the Last Shadow), unites the tribes, asks the tree Eywa for help, and then repels the sky people.

In their time, the Spaniards destroyed the Aztecs, Incas, Maya, and other Native American tribes; an entire continent fell at their hands. Great Britain in the 19th century had 250 colonies, and none of its colonial campaigns was without genocide and ethnic cleansing. You probably remember well the stories about the great commander Alexander the Great, whom one now wants to call a great killer.

Throughout the entire history of humanity, the inner beast has not been defeated. Christianity immortalized the decline of humanity in the story of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ. It is probably naive to suppose that several thousand years of wars, genocide, and enslavement could have embedded themselves in people's DNA in such a way that in a moment of crisis people become kinder and more tolerant of one another, striving to help. It looks counterintuitive and completely illogical, but in moments of crisis the most active destructive actions happen precisely inside and help the enemy win.

Every inner roar of ours, every cutting phrase thrown at the back of a compatriot - this is the repetition of one and the same scenario, sewn into our DNA at the level of reflexes.

I feel bad, let everyone else I can reach feel bad too. And the people I can reach are those close to me. And inner weakness and powerlessness are expressed as aggression toward those who understand me. What is the point of hating those who do not understand me and cannot understand me. What is the point of attacking someone stronger, since I am already suffering from someone stronger. And this vortex grows and multiplies, spreading around in mental waves. And now even the person who does not understand me begins to suffer, but does not understand why.

It seems to him that this is compassion, but this compassion slowly turns into suffering, and this mental illness passes from one person to another.

This is roughly how the inner beast progresses, roughly how suffering and grief pass from one person to another. There is no carrier here that could be seen under a microscope or sensed in some other way. Only our consciousness participates in this process. That part of our being which we supposedly control.

It is hard to agree with simple and obvious things, especially when a fire is burning inside. Try reading the history of Native Americans or Hindus, look at how great civilizations declined; you can even choose an Aztec name for yourself so that the immersion is complete. And then turn to the end of that civilization's history. Then raise your eyes and be amazed: the killers of these civilizations, who carried out genocide, are alive now. If history is not studied, it repeats again and again.

You trolled someone on the internet, told the whole truth straight to a compatriot who is not helping as needed, not defending as needed, and so on - boldly choose a Jewish name for yourself, transport yourself to Jerusalem 2 thousand years ago, and watch your stone fly toward Jesus Christ. Or watch how you first push a compatriot, a Native American, into a Spanish bullet, and when he falls face down, the second catches up with you.

Jake Sully will not become Toruk Makto, Eywa will not raise the whole animal kingdom in defense; only your actions, only you personally can stop the spread of the disease of the inner beast. There are no pills; you are one on one with yourself and your inner malice.
